Placing Orders

Carteja offers two convenient ways to purchase products: add items to your cart for later checkout or buy immediately with a single click.

Placing Orders

Adding Items to Cart

Section titled “Adding Items to Cart”
  1. 🛒 On the product detail page, click Add to Cart.
  2. ✅ The item is saved to your shopping cart.
  3. 🔄 Continue browsing and add more items as needed.

Managing Your Cart

Section titled “Managing Your Cart”
  1. 👀 Click the cart icon in the top navigation bar to view your cart. 2. ⚙️ Review items, adjust quantities, or remove items.

Immediate Purchase

Section titled “Immediate Purchase”
  1. ⚡ On the product detail page, click Buy Now. 2. 🚀 This takes you directly to checkout, bypassing the cart.

Checkout Process

The checkout page has two main sections organized for a smooth ordering experience:

Items Summary

Section titled “Items Summary”

🏪 Store Information

Shows the store you are ordering from and their details.

📦 Product Details

Item name, price, quantity, and any special options.

💰 Order Total

Complete cost breakdown including taxes and fees.

🚚 Delivery Options

Choose between “PICKUP” and “DELIVERY” based on availability.

Billing & Address

Section titled “Billing & Address”
  1. Address Selection
    Section titled “Address Selection”
    • If no address is selected, “No address selected” is shown
    • Click New Address to add a delivery location
    • Or choose from your saved addresses
  2. Payment Method
    Section titled “Payment Method”
    • Currently available: “Cash on Delivery/Pickup”
    • Select your preferred payment option
  3. Delivery Instructions
    Section titled “Delivery Instructions”
    • Add helpful notes for the delivery person
    • Include landmarks, gate codes, or specific directions
  4. Cart Overall Total
    Section titled “Cart Overall Total”
    • Merchandise Total: Cost of all items
    • Total Amount: Final amount to pay
  5. Final Step
    Section titled “Final Step”
    • Review all details carefully
    • Click Check Out to complete your order
